The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates the annual cost of lost productivity due to domestic violence equals $727.8 million, with more than 7.9 million paid workdays lost each year.1

The State of New York Model Domestic Violence and the Workplace Policy for Private Business is designed to assist private employers to address the issue of domestic violence and the workplace.
