Events: Denim Day Installation, Twitter Live Q&A, and Lighting of State Landmarks in Recognition of Denim Day and Sexual Assault Awareness Month

What:
- The NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, in partnership with the NYS Office of General Services, will hold an Installation in recognition of Denim Day and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
- Additionally, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, OPDV and DOH will hold a Twitter Live Q&A on April 26, 2023, at 2 p.m.
- On March 28, 2023, Governor Hochul issued a proclamation declaring April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
- In recognition of Denim Day and the courage of survivors, key New York State landmarks will be lit in teal on April 26, 2023.
