Did you know…
In 2008, there were 3283 claims identified as domestic violence and 2054 claims identified as sexual assault filed with the NYS Office of Victim Services (OVS). OVS paid $2,128,007 to victims of domestic violence and $982,832 to victims of sexual assault.
