Guiding Principles for Community Domestic Violence Policy was made possible by a Byrne Justice Assistance Grant American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (JAG ARRA) Grant. The NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) and the Empire Justice Center (EJC) coordinated the project, assisted by subject matter experts and local domestic violence service providers from around the state. We also owe a debt of gratitude to our partners in state government for their assistance. Thank you to all who contributed to the development of the Guiding Principles. Your expertise, direction, time and input was essential in making this a useful tool for communities.
